My passion for drawing began at age four after watching the famous Walter Lantz animated feature “Woody Woodpecker” on TV. My love for caricature began soon after that thanks to the film and TV parodies of MAD magazine. In order to learn how to draw cartoons, I took all the cartooning courses I could from Continental Schools of Los Angeles, CA. After moving across the country, I attended the American Academy of Art here in Chicago, receiving my degree after completing all requirements. I started drawing caricatures as a professional at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, IL. 34 years later, it continues to be my occupation both in the studio and at special events.
I also contribute editorial cartoons and illustrations to various publications and social media sites.
